Great broodmares are the foundation...
Carefully selecting quality mares of exceptional breeding and refinement is very important for any breeding program. From the oldest times, the Bedouins placed great value on their mares, jealously guarding them--even bringing their most prized mares into their own tents at night for protection.

Our foundation mare... and Arabian treasure.

RB Chez Michele...
... is the daughter of the black straight Egyptian sire Arabi Fadh Onyx (half brother to top black sire Blacklord Arabi). She has several crosses to black in her pedigree with lines to Adhem*, grandson of Nazeer*, as well as the great Babson sires FaSerr, Negem, and Fadl. Her dam is Crabbet-bred with lines to Serafix* and Raseyn*. This Crabbet-Egyptian cross is a well-known combination of extreme beauty, exotic heads, with desert-bred endurance, fire, and presence. Chez Michele is a beautiful mare--our 'tent mare'--reflecting her proud pedigree. She is a treasured broodmare, continually producing exceptional foals, and four of the last five being black.

Foaling season excitement...!
The stork's arrival is our favorite time. Our first black foal is the cutest little colt...he's just awesome. (picture at right) He was born March 2003...Black with lots of chrome--four matched stockings and a star and snip. Nice foal, beautifully dished head, tall, long-legged and full of spirit. He's been imprinted and just loves people.

Our second foal has arrived and he's a beautiful loud colored BLACK and WHITE pinto colt. Very exotic dishy head with ultra flashy markings (picture at right). He has a checkmark star, and a white band encircling his black tail that waves like a checkered flag as he flips it up and down, back and forth. He's really going to be a standout--a special one!

He's 3/4 Arabian with bloodlines that include Desperado V, Shaikh Al Badi, Adhem, Fa-Serr, Negem, Two-Eyed Jack, Leo, etc.

... is a 2001 bay filly with a pedigree of champions. Her sire is BA Fame Tu, by Nat'l Champion Fame VF (x Bey Shah) out of a daughter of Strike, by Aladdinn (both also Nat'l Champions). Her dam is RB Chez Michele shown above, giving her lines to Arabi Fadh Onyx, *Serafix, Ferseyn, Abu Farwa, *Raffles, Nazeer, *Adhem, *Fadl, Negem, and Fa-Serr. She's a refined filly with a gorgeous head, tall and leggy with a showy trot--she's indeed a reflection of her pedigree.

HPA Tutu Shai ...
... is a recent addition, a solid black Egyptian-Polish-Crabbet filly combining the best of Egyptian, Polish, and CMK lines. Her pedigree includes Simeon Shai, Alada Baskin, Kaiyoum, Khemosabi, MS Santana, Aladdinn. She is smooth-bodied and tall-legged with a long, slender neck and very pretty head. Our thanks to High Plains Arabians, Wyoming for the chance to acquire her.

Midnite Twister ...
... is a flashy black & white Paint type half-Arab mare with beautifully balanced markings. Her dam is sired by the black straight Egyptian Arabi Fadh Onyx (half brother to Blacklord Arabi). Her sire is a black & white stock-type Paint of Two-Eyed Jack breeding. She has the Paint size and sturdy build with the refined Arab neck and head. We look forward to seeing her knockout black & white foals. PEDIGREE ~ MIDNYTE TWISTER

WT Jasmine ...
... is a daughter of SP Cavalier, by SV Basksko, the son of *Bask. Her dam is from the popular breeding cross of Raffles and Ferzon , having several lines to each. Jasmine is a golden chestnut with flaxen mane, fine-boned and graceful like a deer, with the same floating movement. Our thanks to Windtamer Arabians for the beautiful Jasmine and her half-sister Shasta.

WT Shasta ...
... a black-bay daughter of the SV Basksko son, SP Cavalier. Shasta's dam is a half-sister to the great Huckleberry Bey and Bey Shah, all sired by the legendary Varian stallion Bey-El-Bey, "the Kingmaker". Shasta is an elegant mare, refined and delicate with a beautiful head and swan neck. A pedigree full of champions and beauty to match! She will be bred to Blackwind Mirage.
